Adult Athletics


Spring programs are offered for Adult Open, Church and Industrial Softball Leagues.   Registration begins in March.  Please pick up registration packets at the Parks, Public Grounds and Leisure Services Main office.  Contact Robby Milner, Athletic Supervisor, for more info. 770-467-4750.


Spring/Summer Adult Co-Ed Church and Co-Ed Open leagues are offered.  Team registrations are accepted in May for the June-July season.  Team rosters should be a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 15 players.  Games are played on Sunday afternoons and evenings at AMBUCS Ball Park on High Falls Rd.   Contact Robby Milner at 770-467-4750 for more information.



The following leagues are offered:  Men's Open Industrial. These leagues offer opportunities for GRPA District and State Championship play.  Season Registration packets become available in November!

Note:  Registration Packets will be available in November.  This season runs from November through January!

If open play is your game there are opportunities to play at City Park, Fairmont and AMBUCS Gymnasiums.

Spalding County Parks, Public Grounds and Leisure Services offers adults with special needs the opportunity to compete in local, district, and State Special Olympics!

The Special Olympic Bowling season in Spalding County begins in September and runs through March.  Participants bowl weekly at Magnolia Lanes in Griffin on Thursday afternoons.  Unified Partners help complete the teams which are established at the beginning of the season.  There is no membership fee, just a weekly bowling fee.
