School Break ProgramsThere is something free for youth to do while school is out on break! Spalding County Parks and Recreation offers 3 camp style activity programs during the school year; during fall break (Oct.), winter break (Feb.) and spring break(April). Children ages 5 and up will enjoy games, creative activities, arts and crafts, movies, and more.

This program is free and made possible through grant funds provided by District Four Youth Development Program. There is no charge for this program offered at Fairmont and City Park Community Centers and reservations are on a first come basis. Program hours are 8am to 5pm Monday-Friday. No meals are provided at this camp so campers need to bring a lunch and snacks. For information on the program at Fairmont call 770-467-4758 and City Park at 770-467-4757.  Pre-Registration by a parent or legal guardian is suggested due to the popularity of the program.  Pre-register onsite at Fairmont or City Pary gym Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 1 pm- 10 pm,  Friday 1 pm - 5 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm.   If any questions call 770 467 4750 Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm.
