Youth Football

Spalding County Parks and Recreation offers an exciting and affordable youth football program for youth ages 5 -12. Our teams are given opportunity to play other local communities through the Piedmont Football League. Area recreation agencies participate in this league which makes for an exciting season!

*Spalding County Parks and Recreation will not be able to provide transportation to any games in 2009.

2010 Football season signups:
When: Saturdays only from 10am to 2pm
Dates: July and August Check Back for specific dates as well as fees.

Where: City Park Community Center
Ages: 5 to 12
Cost: Flag Football (ages 5-6)
leagues through age 12

$20.00 - Additional fee if live outside of Spalding County*

*Please note: the last 2 days of registration will be extremely busy and you may have several hours wait if you wait until then to register!

LEAGUES OFFERED:
Flag League offered for ages 5-6

Full contact leagues:
Mite League age 7-8
Pee Wee League age 9-10
Junior League age 11-12

*There are no weight limitations to register for this program.;

MUST BRING:
Child must be present
Cash only
Birth certificate

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Age control date is prior to September 1 of the current year.

Parent or guardian must be present with child.

Child will be weighed before they are allowed to register.

Football equipment must be picked up at time of registration. Pants will not be provided.

If your child has not returned equipment from a previous season they cannot be registered until the equipment is returned.
